Sam Rossi, Senior Account Executive
As Senior Account Executive, Sam brings more than 15 years of communications leadership experience from various offices in and around the Ohio Statehouse.
At Lesic & Camper, Sam leads account activities for Walmart and provides media and public relations support for their efforts across Ohio, Michigan, and West Virginia. In addition to working with Walmart’s communications team, Sam also collaborates with the retailer’s community relations and government relations staff to promote philanthropic, public affairs, and consumer interests. Sam maintains relationships with regional and store management staff to assist with their interactions with consumers, business news media, and local community groups.
In 2025, Sam served as chief spokesperson for the Yes on 2: Build Strong Ohio Communities ballot campaign, which successfully renewed the long-standing State Capital Improvement Program. Sam executed a strategic, proactive media relations strategy statewide, as part of an effort to educate voters in the importance of maintaining this critical public works program.

Prior to joining Lesic & Camper, Sam served as legislative aide to former State Senator Keith Faber before taking on the role of deputy press secretary for the Senate Majority Caucus. In 2012, Sam became communications director for the Ohio Department of Medicaid, serving as the department’s primary spokesman and leading messaging around major health and human services initiatives. He then expanded his government relations and coalition management experience as director of government affairs for the Ohio Association of Health Plans.
Sam later returned to state government as press secretary during the final two years of former Secretary of State Jon Husted’s administration. Following the 2018 election cycle, Sam was named communications director in the Office of Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague. While in the Treasurer’s office, he was charged with the development and coordination of all communications and messaging efforts while also providing strategic counsel to the organization’s senior leadership and government affairs staff.
Sam earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in political science from Ohio University.
